In my research I have found mention that PH levels can be a cause of BV. Keeping your PH levels in balance could help or possibly solve your problem. I think that this might be the reason I have problems with BV. I have noticed that I get BV outbreaks during the end of my period when hormones and PH levels aren't at thier best. Products such as RepHresh have been designed to help get your PH levels in check. I will be trying RepHresh for the first time tonight since I am at the end of my menstural cycle and have a case of BV. I will report back my findings. In the mean time check out the product here, they also offer a pill, it's costly but might be another option. The pill taken daily is supposed to help control yest and bacteria levels in the vagina. I might give this a try on pay day since it runs about $32.00. As with this product and all I will report back my experiences.

I have an update, repHresh is great! One application and I saw great results, all my symptoms of BV cleared up significantly! I also have been taking wheat grass shots in hopes to help detox and cleanse my system and Azo yeast to help with the itching and other symptoms. We will have to wait and see how the next two days go, one applicaiton of repHresh is good for 3 days. I feel a big differnece with it, these leads me to think that BV can be conected to ph levels during menstural cycles.

ReplyDeleteTrust me according to my docotor you are not the only one, this is a very common issue due to diet and hormones. My new OBYN reccomends rephresh as needed espeically after your menstrul cycle and daily does of Jarro's probiotic for women called Fem-Dophilus.
ReplyDeleteHI.... I am a young woman 21 to be exact and i been experiencing bv for the longest. I am so tired of going back and forth to the doctors. However my doctor did refer me to use Rephresh but i have not gotten it yet. My bv tend to show up out of nowhere whether its after my period or before. Can you use Rephresh before your period? And if i think i have slight symptoms should i use Rephresh instead of going to the doctor?
ReplyDeleteStill stay close to your doctor, or get a new one that cares. Use Rephresh in addition to seeing your doctor. You should use it after or before your cycle starts / ends. I have also found diet and environment make a difference. Get off sugar, dairy and junk. Try a paleo diet, I saw great results since I moved to a newer apartment and changed my diet (I think my old apartment had mold).
ReplyDeletei am 22 years old I been with the same guy for about 4 years I never had bv before and we are both faithful people and I just got off of birth control 4 months ago and I had a normal period and than my next cycle I started to get pelvic pain wasn't sure what it was and I found out it was bv I don't know how it came about but I try RepHresh before and I love it so I am going to try the pills to see if it helps a little bit to maintain the bv from coming back

Look at changing your diet (no processed junk, no bread, no sugar) and you will see amazing results. It's not easy but for your health and partner, it's worth it.
